Chris Bruels

Background & Experience

Chris Bruels appreciates the integrity of the Trager® Approach and feels rewarded with the results she facilitates with her clients.

Beginning her training in 1984, Chris became certified as a Trager practitioner in 1985, and a tutor in 1997. She has established private practices in Red Deer, Alberta, Vancouver and now the Comox Valley. In addition, she graduated with the Certificate of Counselling Skills from Vancouver Community College in 1998.

Chris maintains her membership in Trager Canada and upholds its ethical standards. Her commitment to this professional organization has been demonstrated by serving on the board of directors and providing many of the administrative functions to the national members. Chris holds the administrative secretary contract for Trager International, giving her an intimate view of the world wide Trager scene.

Chris appreciates the congruence between how she uses her own body to create the Trager movements and the experience in her client's body, both are soft, rhythmic and flowing. Chris is inspired as her client's learn to integrate these qualities into their lives.
